The leaked pictures of the new Ventilator Theory caught me off guard, because this shoe is supposed to be the successor to the Travel Trainer VI, which is not even out yet.
You may think that this design is merely a modern reinterpretation of the original Ventilator (Reebok 90s classic), which is true at some degree, but the real story is that this shoe was originally designed with a focus on "pack-ability" that allows you to take a sneaker along while leaving the bulk behind - which is what Travel Trainer series was all about.
So what Ventilator-inspired shoe really is a shoe with a soul of the Travel Trainer; lightweight, flexible, low-profile; all these features makes this shoe trainable and packable.
